Antagonistic pairs?????

The Year 9 Science photos this week show pupils developing their knowledge and understanding of how the skeletal and muscular systems work together and specifically how muscles work in antagonistic pairs. They did this using a range of practical tasks including skipping, balloon football, table football and table tennis. Pupils worked cooperatively and independently to identify the muscles and bones they were using and describe how they worked together in the kinaesthetic tasks. They used this information to complete their task
