Science
We have had a good start to Science lessons at Braybrook this term. Students were very engaged in an introductory lesson where they found out they could all be a Scientist and completed a practical investigation safely. Most had great fun investigating where on the tongue different taste buds are located and also found it amusing when they tested their theories on different members of staff who had to taste various sour and bitter concoctions!!!
In Year 8 we have been learning about Cells and Organisation in Biology. Marley Simpson has demonstrated some excellent prior knowledge of the subject.
In Year 9 we have been learning about the Skeletal and Muscular System and pupils have engaged well in some life size body maps and have been able to explain their learning to other members of staff and to parents who have visited which I have been really pleased with.
