Message From The Headteacher
Welcome to The Braybrook Centre. We are a Key Stage 3 Pupil Referral Unit for young people with social and behavioural difficulties. We not only cater for students who are at risk of or have been permanently excluded from mainstream education, but also focus on early intervention.
Our core values are based around: Support, Trust, Achieve and Respect. We work in partnership with mainstream schools, academies and other organisations to ensure the needs of our young people are met.
Our high expectations for all of our students regarding their behaviour, progress and uniform along with a school based environment puts us at the forefront of Key Stage 3 alternative provision in Wolverhampton.
Students have access to a range of academic and vocational qualifications, as well as a creative curriculum. We are supported by: specialist teachers and teaching assistants, Lawnswood Integrated Therapy Service, and other agencies such as CAMHS and Wolverhampton Connexions. Our core offer is supplemented by the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Volunteering, Expedition, Skills and Physical Award (VESPA), along with a range of other extra-curricular activities. We are proud of the service that we provide at The Braybrook Centre and hope that you will have a positive experience when working with us.
Mrs M Bowes
