Outdoor Education
Outdoor education at the Braybrook Centre engages students in practical and active learning experiences in natural environments and settings beyond the classroom. This enables students to develop skills, confidence and resilience while appreciating the natural environment.
-
We aim to develop activities and experiences that match the needs of our students and is very much student centred. Students build confidence and resilience which can be applied in a variety of situations.
-
We develop essential personal and social capabilities e.g. Communication, self-confidence, leadership, team work, personal autonomy and initiative.
-
Activities include walking, climbing, mountain biking, shelter/camp building, orienteering, canoeing and many other pursuits.
